Warehouse Supervisor

DigitalOptometrics, a growing, exciting company in the telehealth field, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for our Lake Success, NY office.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the proper staging and shipment of product, verify and keep records on outgoing shipments, as well as prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Prepare paperwork, including shipping documents.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencil identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Check labels, put packing slips on before loading, label up hazard if required.
• Enter orders for shipment.
• Insert items into containers.
• Stack cartons onto skids
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Move shipments from shipping to storage or work area.
