DigitalOptometrics, a rapidly growing national company in the telehealth field, is seeking a self-starter driven Social Media Specialist to secure, create and publish content on all social media platforms to grow an audience and extend awareness of our brand name.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Create, maintain and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Requirements and skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role in digital marketing

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, YouTube and other social media best practices
• Creative, critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

• Work from your home office or our Lake Success, NY or Cincinnati, OH offices
