Regional Sales Representative

DigitalOptometrics, a leading rapidly growing national company providing a telehealth system to the optical industry in the performance of comprehensive eye exams, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to expand sales and address customer needs within designated geographic territories. The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for securing new customer locations for use of the Company's telehealth optometry system and generating leads to advance the sales process. An exciting opportunity in the growing telehealth technology field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and establish business relationships with new customers
  • Become thoroughly familiar with the telehealth service provided by the Company with its advantages, and distinguishing features for the optical provider, optical patient and optometrist.
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Expand regional sales through sales to regional and independent optometry practices, regional and independent owners of ophthalmology practices as well as clinics within hospitals
  • Understand customers' needs and recommend how to adapt company capabilities to meet those needs
  • Attend industry functions, such as tradeshows and events
  • Identify and utilize knowledge of the market and competitors to communicate the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Maintain customer data in CRM data base.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to identify strategic sales opportunities.
  • Arrange, customize, and deliver in-person and virtual sales presentations and demonstrations.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification required: 3+ years of sales/ marketing experience in the optical industry.
  • Existing relationships with Optometry and/or Ophthalmology providers and hospitals a plus. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Experience in closing business opportunities
  • Ability to develop and maintain trusting, collaborative and effective relationships
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to travel to customer locations
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Work from your home office or our Lake Success, NY or Cincinnati, OH offices
  • Competitive compensation includes base salary plus sales commission plan with no ceiling on commissions.
  • Benefits include participation in health insurance and 401K plan.
