The Marketing and Content Creation Specialist is responsible for implementing marketing
strategies and content to drive brand awareness, engage customers, and generate leads for the
organization. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who can develop and execute
marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and optimize marketing efforts across various
channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, content creation,
and digital marketing, with a focus on achieving marketing goals and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement marketing
strategies that align with business objectives, including identifying target
audiences, creating messaging for appropriate marketing channels. - Create and manage content creation efforts, including writing and editing
engaging content for websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and
other marketing collateral. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including education and sales, to
ensure consistent brand messaging and creative content that resonates with
the target audience. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs,
industry trends, and opportunities for marketing campaigns and content
creation. - Execute marketing campaigns, including developing marketing plans, creating
marketing materials, and coordinating promotional activities to drive brand
awareness, engagement, and lead generation. - Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic,
social media engagement, and email campaign results, and provide
recommendations for optimization and improvement. - Develop and optimize website content, SEO, social media, email marketing,
and other digital marketing initiatives. - Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers for
any additional content creation, design, and other marketing services. - Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, best practices, and industry
innovations, and apply them to the organization's marketing strategies and
content creation efforts. - Assist in developing and managing marketing budgets, including tracking and
reporting on marketing expenses and ROI. - Meet Schedules for completion of assignments.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
-Proven experience in marketing and content creation, with a minimum of
five (5) years of relevant work experience.
-Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
-Knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.Familiarity with various marketing channels,
including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
-Ability to analyze and interpret marketing performance metrics to drive data-
driven decision-making.
-Proficiency in using marketing tools and software, such as content
management systems, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and social
media management platforms.
-Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to
prioritize and meet deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate
effectively with team members and stakeholders.
-Self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented mindset with a passion for
marketing and content creation.
-Knowledge of best practices in marketing and content creation.
-Knowledge of vision industry a plus, but not a requirement
