Installation Support Engineer

At DigitalOptometrics we are actively seeking an Installation Support Engineer, with 8+ years experience, to join our team of highly talented professionals.

The ideal candidate is someone seeking an opportunity where Engineering Technical, Process and Communication skills can shine in a fast-paced environment. The ability to include responsibility for technology ranging from office location interconnectivity, specialized Optical equipment architecture for customer site installations and support of the production / development Azure cloud environment as part of an extended team.

Skills Required:
Technical Experience Required:

• Network
• VM's
• Storage
• Security
• Windows Operating Systems
• Antivirus
• Imaging
  o PC / Server Hardware
  o Cabling / Wiring
  o Networking to include:
  • Serial, USB, Ethernet and Wireless connectivity
• Troubleshooting / Diagnostic skills
• Optical equipment experience a plus

Partner with Engineering, Application Development, Infrastructure and Service Desk
teams.

Partner with Engineering to determine technology and process improvement
needs regarding customer site installations.

o Understand customer office environment and provide design needs for
technology standards
o Work with the DigitalOptometrics Engineering team to architect and design
new solutions by incorporating the latest technologies
o Provide 3rd level support for the customer site Installation Teams
o Provide 3rd level support for DigitalOptometrics Service Desk team
