Exciting new opportunity within new BJ's Optical to work in the burgeoning field of Tele-Optometry. Tele-Optometry by DigitalOptometrics utilizes new advancements in technology making comprehensive eye exams conducted by an Optometrist convenient to patients. Optometric TECHNICIAN /ROCHESTER, NY            

In collaboration with Telehealth Manager, the optometric specialist will play a key role in helping to deliver an elevated standard of care for patients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting pre-testing and specialized testing for tele- optometric exams utilizing visual acuity, auto-refraction, fundus photos and tonometry.

Successful candidates will have:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1-year experience with a track record in conducting pre-testing and special testing with optometric pretest instruments or a combined minimum of 1-year experience working in eyewear sales (familiarity with various types of prescription lenses and lens options). I&R experience a plus.
